Come enjoy the fresh ocean air and free books this summer at the Open-Air Library in Sidney, BC!

Join us this summer for the forth-annual Open Air Library!  Everyone is welcome to select from a wide range of reading materials, relax with a good book on our cozy blankets, enjoy the fresh air and take home a book afterwards. Reading materials are available for all ages; there is no need to register, this is a FREE drop-in program.

The Open-Air Library is a free program sponsored by Saanich Peninsula Literacy in partnership with The Town of Sidney, PCEC “1000 X 5” Children’s Book Recycling Project, GVPL, Sidney / North Saanich Library, Sidney by the Sea Rotary and many others.

Dates:  July 3, 10, 17 & Aug 7, 14, 21. 2018
Time:   10am – 12pm
Location:  Iroquois Park (2295 Ocean Ave) next to concession building and putting green
Sidney, BC.  *we will not run the program in bad weather

Booksmack Children and Youth Event:  Don’t miss another hilarious “Booksmack children and youth” event on August 14th at the Open-Air Library, a partnership between Saanich Peninsula Literacy, the Greater Victoria Public Library and the Sidney/North Saanich Vancouver Island Regional Library.  Come watch library staff and community members as they race against the clock to tell you about their favourite books!
