Come enjoy the fresh ocean air and free books this summer at the Open-Air Library in Sidney, BC!

Join us in the summer of 2019 for the fifth-annual Open Air Library!  The Open-Air Library is a free program sponsored by Saanich Peninsula Literacy in partnership with The Town of Sidney, Peninsula “1000 X 5” Children’s Book Recycling Project, GVPL, Sidney / North Saanich Library, Sidney by the Sea Rotary and many others.

Everyone is welcome to visit us at Iroquois Park next to the putting green to select from a wide range of reading materials, relax with a good book on our cozy blankets, enjoy the fresh air and take home a book afterwards. Reading materials are available for all ages; there is no need to register, this is a FREE drop-in program.

Spend your day at Iroquois Park where children can enjoy the splash pad, playground and nearby green space.  There is a tennis court and ball court as well as the Sidney Food Bank all nestled in nicely together to create a great community space for all to enjoy!
