Learning is everywhere, learning is life. Non-formal and informal learning emphasize the integration of learning and living“ in various contexts across family, community and work settings. Learning can happen anywhere and this event will showcase a variety of different activities and learning opportunities that families can experience together. Various businesses and service providers will open their doors to families to experience learning with FREE fun filled activities at each location. The next Family Learning Tour will take place on Saturday January 26, 2019.

Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre: (10am-1pm) Story Walk in Garry Oak Grove: Take a 40 minute self guided stroll and read an illustrated storybook along the way! Start at the trial head in front of the JDF Library (The big rock) All ages welcome!

Centennial Centre: Located in Langford at the corner of Goldstream Avenue and Carlow Road, across the street from Spencer Middle School. (12pm-2pm) Artistic Literacy: Tap into your inner artist with creative stations for the whole family!
YMCA-YWCA: 1314 Lakepoint Way, Langford (12pm-2pm) Physical Literacy: Join the YMCA for a fun and interactive workshop where you and your family can practice basic movement skills and play interactive games. Bring your energy and let’s get physical! All ages welcome!
