Join us once again for three fantastic Storywalks this summer!
Head Outside & Read Event
Enjoy the morning at Pioneer Park with your family while strolling through the park and reading the self-guided Storywalk The crocodile who didn’t like water, by Gemma Merino. The Peninsula 1000 x 5 Book Recycling Project will be there to hand out Free book bags for children ages 0-5yrs and Saanich Peninsula Literacy will have books for children ages 6-13yrs old. Bring along a blanket, some picnic snacks!

Planting a Rainbow Storywalk
Pick up a BINGO sheet at the trail head and see if you can identify some of the plants in the park while you stroll along reading the self-guided Storywalk: Planting a Rainbow by Lois Ehlert. Drop off your completed BINGO cards to the Sidney / North Saanich Library and be entered into a prize draw.

You be You Storywalk
Stroll along the fence by the playground in Iroquois Park as you read the self-guided Storywalk You be You by Linda Kranz. Start of the Storywalk will be set up near the putting green.
Then, take some time to search and find a variety of laminated fish images scattered throughout the park. Snap a photo of you or your family with one and email it to email@example.com to be entered into a prize draw.
